Brooks Insights Limited (Brooks Insights) is an independent consulting firm committed to providing evidence-based insights for improved health and development through research, program monitoring and evaluation, knowledge product development, capacity building, and technical support.
Brooks Insights has a solid track record in conducting high-impact research; delivering efficient project management; evaluating programs for continuous improvement; developing knowledge products; conducting capacity building; and providing targeted assistance to clients. Meet the Core Team
Chisom Obi-Jeff is a Global Health Researcher and Implementation Scientist with expertise in designing and evaluating innovative, people-centered, low-cost, and high-impact interventions to improve the uptake and delivery of evidence-based interventions in low-resource settings.
She has extensive experience working on global health and development issues and managing multi-million-dollar grant portfolios in sub-Saharan Africa. She has successfully worked with the government and on projects funded by USAID, Gavi, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Wellcome Trust, Grand Challenges Canada, Sabin Vaccine Institute, DT-Global, Johnson & Johnson, and others.
Her research interests include implementation research to inform policy decisions and program strategies and using participatory approaches and behavioral insights to address global health challenges and improve health-seeking behavior, equity, and outcomes. Chisom’s current research builds evidence on implementation strategies to improve maternal, adolescent, and child health services and outcomes.
Chisom holds an M.Sc. in Public Health from Oxford Brookes University, United Kingdom, and a B.Sc. in Microbiology from Abia State University, Nigeria. She is a PhD Candidate in Epidemiology and Population Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, United Kingdom.
Funmilayo Oguntimehin
Yetunde Akinniranye
Yetunde Akinniranye is a seasoned Researcher with experience in Social and Behavior Change.
She has supported the design of various research studies and excels in project management across diverse areas, including family planning, nutrition, malaria, neglected tropical diseases, and immunization. Her experience in SBCC enables her to contribute to the development of impactful communication strategies for several interventions. She is proficient in using qualitative analysis tools and supports the development of targeted messages for informed decision-making.
Yetunde holds an M.Sc. in International Development from The University of Manchester, United Kingdom, and a B.Sc. in Sociology from Covenant University, Nigeria.
Abdulrahman Ibrahim
Abdulrahman Ibrahim is a Health Economist with expertise in healthcare financing to promote accessibility and affordability of healthcare services among underserved populations and in low-resource settings.
He has experience working on various donor-funded projects that test the impact and cost-effectiveness of various healthcare delivery strategies to inform policy decisions and improve health outcomes.
His research interests primarily revolve around healthcare costs, climate change, and humanitarian economics, focusing on how shifting weather patterns and humanitarian crises affect healthcare needs, access, and spending.
Abdulrahman holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Nigeria, and a Bachelor’s degree in economics from Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai, Niger State, Nigeria.
Mashood Mudashir
Mashood Mudashir has a background in Management and Business administration and expertise in Management, Accounting, Finance and Tax management of Limited Liabilities, Incorporated Trustees and Public Sector Standards. He is an Associate Chartered Accountant of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) and a professional student of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA).
He holds a Bachelor ‘s degree from Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai, Niger State and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Ilorin, Kwara State.
Abduljaleel Adejumo
Abduljaleel Adejumo is a skilled Data Analyst with a substantial foundation in statistics and machine learning. His work is driven by a passion to utilize analytical and computing expertise and cutting-edge technology to address complex challenges and improve health and development outcomes.
Abduljaleel’s professional interests lie in the application of statistical modelling and machine learning in infectious disease outbreak management, and the optimization of healthcare resource allocation.
He holds a Master’s in Mathematical Sciences from the Africa Institute of Mathematical Sciences, Senegal, and a Bachelor’s in Statistics from the University of Ilorin.
Abdulazeez Abdulganiyu
Abdulazeez Abdulganiyu is a Health Sociologist with a strong background and expertise in understanding the social and behavioral determinants of health outcomes to improve healthcare access and quality for vulnerable populations.
He has extensive experience in community participatory research projects, working on public health issues with the government, and on projects funded by the World Bank, the Global Fund, TETFund, and others.
His research interests include Health Sociology, Population Health, and Social and behavioral research for positive behavioral changes and improved healthcare access and quality. Abdulazeez’s current research builds evidence on social and behavioral change communication (SBCC) strategies to improve uptake of Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent + Nutrition (RMNCAH) services.
Abdulazeez holds a Master’s of Sociology (Medical Sociology) degree from the University of Lagos, Nigeria, and a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria.
Solomon Adomi
Solomon Adomi has combined experience in Public Health research, Clinical Research, and the non-profit sector. Equipped with a foundation in biomedical sciences, experience in sickle-cell disease and brain-gut-microbiota axis research, and ongoing public health post-graduate studies, he offers a unique blend of expertise in developing and supporting donor-funded research and outreach projects.
He has successfully worked with the government and local and international non-governmental organizations and contributed to designing and implementing public health projects funded by the World Bank, MasterCard, Grand Challenges Canada, and others.
His research interests encompass improving maternal and child health and non-communicable disease outcomes, with a growing focus on implementation research.
Rachael Oluropo
Rachael Oluropo is a skilled project officer with extensive program and administrative experience. Her excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, combined with a flair for assimilating new concepts and information, allow her to effectively coordinate and manage tasks and teams, ensuring projects are executed seamlessly.
With strong communication abilities and a commitment to excellence, Rachael excels in collaborating with diverse teams to achieve project objectives and is poised to contribute significantly to organizational success. Rachael holds a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology and is currently undergoing a degree in Food and Industrial Microbiology.

Funmilayo Oguntimehin (Senior Manager, Technical)
Funmilayo Bamidele Oguntimehin is a highly skilled and experienced Public Health researcher with expertise in designing, implementing, and managing impactful interventions to enhance maternal and child health outcomes in different contexts in Nigeria.
She has accumulated years of progressive experience coordinating grants funded by local and international partners on various health issues, such as vaccination, reproductive health, nutrition, infectious diseases, and mental health. Throughout these projects, she has honed the requisite technical skills to excel in research, knowledge and stakeholder management, capacity building, and program monitoring and evaluation.
While contributing to other significant health and development issues, Funmilayo’s core research interests are on improving maternal and child health outcomes through participatory approaches that are people-centred and focused. Her current research uses social listening approaches to identify the contextual and systemic factors that influence the uptake of maternal and child health services and to inform the development of appropriate social and behavioral change communications materials to address identified needs.
Funmilayo holds a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Jos and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Microbiology from the University of Ilorin.
